Southern Illinois families are invited to join a Family Fun Night hosted by the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Illinois.

The event is open to all families and will include activities for kids of all ages, including a mad scientist presentation, basketball, and arts and crafts. CEO Tina Carpenter said there will also be learning opportunities for parents, including a cyber safety seminar.

"Especially with the increases in the last year and a half with internet access for remote learning, just making sure parents have all the tools they need to make sure the kids are staying safe while they are online," Carpenter said.

The Family Fun Night will be held Wednesday, September 22nd from 5 pm to 8 pm and is being held at the club's North Springer St. location.
