The public can support the Women's Center of Carbondale by donating school supplies for children. You can drop off items at the First Presbyterian Church, at 310 South University Avenue in Carbondale, by July 28th, 2019. The City of Carbondale is partnering with Southern Illinois University Carbondale in bringing back the annual fireworks display back to the SIU Carbondale Campus.
This year the Fireworks will begin at 9:15PM on Thursday July 4th, 2019.
Parking will be available at the Banterra Center. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early and are reminded that parking along U.S. Highway 51 and other roadways to view the fireworks is prohibited.
