The SIU Museum is hosting an exhibit of the Shawnee National Forest. The exhibit consists of photographs of the 1930s and 1940s.

The Peace Coalition of Southern Illinois and other partners, are sponsoring a speaker on February 4th, 2020, as a part of the Teach-In for Peace. The speaker is Natasha Erskine, Deputy Coordinator of Chicago Veterans for Peace.
This free, public event will take place at the Carbondale Civic Center.
