Warming Centers Available in Williamson County

There are several locations in Williamson County serving as warming centers during the extreme cold.
The county's Emergency Management Agency says the Carterville Fire Department is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Cambria City Hall from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; call 985-6082 about after hours relief

Creal Spring City Hall from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Herrin City Hall from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pittsburg City Hall from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Illinois Department of Human Services office in Marion from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Warming centers also available at the Stonefort Community Center and in Freeman Spur by calling 942-3594.
