W. Frankfort Man Accused of Murder in Woman's Death

West Frankfort Police have charged a man with murder in the death of a woman, whose body was found in Williamson County.

Officers say 48-year-old Thomas McCoy is charged with first-degree murder, concealing a homicidal death and abuse of a corpse in the death of 29-year-old Kendra Ardery.

McCoy led investigators from the West Frankfort Police Department to Ardery's body on Angelville Road.

Police say no other arrests are anticipated, but the investigation will continue.

Officers from West Frankfort and Johnston City Police Departments as well as the Williamson County Sheriff's Department started investigating Ardery's disappearance on Sunday.
