People
Pravin Varughese

Two years after his death, a special prosecutor appointed to review the circumstances behind Pravin Varughese's death, is now expected to release the findings of his investigation.

The NBC television affiliate in Chicago reported the news on Friday, the two-year anniversary of when Varughese went missing.
The SIU-C student was last seen alive on the night of February 12th, 2014. His body was found February 18th, 2014 in a wooded area near Route 13 on the east side of Carbondale.  A Jackson County coroner's autopsy showed no evidence of foul play, although a second autopsy - called for by the family - showed Varughese suffered a traumatic blow to the head.
