Semi Crash Closed Part of I-57 Monday Night

A semi accident closed down a portion of the northbound lanes of I-57 just north of Marion Monday night.

Illinois State Police say the driver of the semi, 26-year old Zachary Daughtery of Tennessee, was reaching for something in the cab and ran the truck and flatbed trailer off the road.  The semi overturned... spilling a load of plywood.
The accident happened just before 7:00 Monday night.  The driver was ticketed for unlawful use of a cellphone.
