The U.S. Small Business Administration says a deadline is quickly approaching for some of those impacted by excessive moisture, flooding and flash flooding that began on September 1, 2018.
The SBA says small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofit organizations have to file for federal economic injury disaster loans by April 7th.
The loans are available to the entire state of Illinoisas well as Cape Girardeau, Mississippi, Perry, Ste. Genevieve and Scott counties in southeast Missouri.
The loans are for working capital and can be up to two million dollars with terms up to 30 years.
