One Person Seriously Injured in Carbondale Shooting

One person suffered serious injuries early Thursday morning during a shooting incident in the northwestern section of Carbondale.
Carbondale Police say they responded to an apartment complex in the 900 block of West Sycamore Street at 5:18 a.m. in reference to a report of shots being fired.

Officers say their investigation found a victim who had been shot. The unidentified person was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale with serious injuries.
