One Lane Reopened on I-64 near Mt. Vernon

Illinois State Police report that one of the east bound lanes of Interstate-64 west of Mt. Vernon is now reopened.

Both eastbound lanes of I-64 were closed early this morning at the Woodlawn exit 69 to allow for crews to clean up a semi-truck accident.    Traffic was being re-routed since about 6:30 am today. 

The accident occurred last night.  The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is investigating. There are no reports of any injuries associated with the accident.
