A Marion man is dead after he was stabbed early Saturday morning.

Marion Police say 48-year old Terrance Olridge died at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Officers found him with multiple stab wounds when they responded to 911 calls just after 3:00 Saturday morning.

The stabbing happened in the 1300 block of Sherman Drive in Marion. Police arrested 22-year old Lemont Brinson of Marion after a short investigation.

Brinson was identified by witnesses as the suspect in the case. Police say he's being held in the Williamson County jail pending formal charges.
