The first ever Find Hope Here Southern Illinois Suicide Prevention Conference recently concluded at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Health professionals from the area gathered to hear speakers and to participate in breakout
sessions designed to, among other things, reduce the stigma associated with mental health problems.
This workshop was a partnership between SIU School of Medicine, Southern Illinois Healthcare, the SIU Student Health Services and the Salukis on Your Side, SIU's campus suicide prevention program.
