On the eve of Election Day, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker says the increases in COVID-19 are as high as they were this past spring.
"Not a single region saw a decrease in the last week."
With voter turnout expected to be high, IDPH Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike says make your choice before you get in line.
"Please make sure that your mask is securely fitted over both your nose and your mouth and please make your selections before you get to the polling booth, so you can get in and out, as quickly as possible."
Ezike stressed to keep holiday celebrations either virtual, or very small.
