A southern Illinois man is charged with making false bomb threats to various people and entities in Canada.
The Jackson County State's Attorney's office says 36-year-old Justin Bagley of Elkville is charged with 11 separate Disorderly Conduct counts of making false bomb threats. Prosecutors claim the threats were made between Thursday and Saturday to a department store, a bank, a health center and schools located in Taber, which is in Alberta, Canada.
Bagley has been in the custody of the Jackson County Sheriff since Saturday.
If convicted, he faces 2-5 years in prison on each of the eleven counts.
