June 4 marked the second day that Illinois' positive COVID-19 tests totaled less than 1,000 - coming in at 929 new cases. The state recorded 116 additional deaths on Thursday.
Illinois' overall total COVID-19 cases is now 124,759, with 5,736 deaths.

Effingham County Health Department:
- No new cases reported
- 7 overall positive cases of COVID-19, with four recoveries and one death.
- 678 negative tests results.
Egyptian Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Total COVID-19 positive cases stands at 11, with 11 recoveries.
- 1,093 tests administered in the three-county service area
Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department:
- Total COVID-19 positive cases now stands at 72, with 55 recoveries and one death in Williamson County, 12 cases with 12 recoveries in Franklin County.
Jackson County Health Department:
- 1 new death - a woman in her 90s.
- 7 new cases - a boy and a girl in their teens, one man in his 20s, two women in their 30s, one woman in her 40s, and one man in his 60s.
- Jackson County's total positive test count is 300, with 241 recoveries and 11 deaths.
Jefferson County Public Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall there have been 104 positive cases of COVID-19, with 90 recoveries and 14 deaths.
- 1460 negative test results.
Marion County Health Department
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, there have been 52 positive cases of COVID-19, with 50 recoveries.
- 1,464 negative test results.
Perry County Health Department:
- 1 new case - a woman in her 40s
- Overall, 43 positive cases of COVID-19, with 40recoveries.

Randolph County Health Department:
- 3 new cases reported
- Overall, 276 positive cases of COVID-19, with 261 recoveries and four deaths.
- 1,627 negative test results.
Richland County Public Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, four positive cases of COVID-19, with three recoveries in Richland County. Two additional cases were identified, but those patients live outside Richland County.

Southern Seven Health Department:
- 2 new cases reported - a man in his 60s from Johnson County, and a woman in her 20s from Union County.
- Overall, Southern Seven reports 258 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 98 recoveries and 13 deaths.
