An additional 766 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Illinois on Thursday, continuing a trend of fewer than 1,000 new reported cases. The new report brings the overall case count to 130,603.
Meanwhile another 91 Illinoisans died connected to COVID-19. The death toll rose to 6,185 on Thursday.
The June 11 announcement also showed the positivity rate among total tests from June 3-June 10 is 4%.

Effingham County Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- 8 overall positive cases of COVID-19, with six recoveries and one death.
- 834 negative tests results.
Egyptian Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Total COVID-19 positive cases stands at 11, with 11 recoveries.
- 1,237 tests administered in the three-county service area
Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department:
- Total COVID-19 positive cases now stands at 83 cases with 58 recoveries and one death in Williamson County, 12 cases with 12 recoveries in Franklin County.
Jackson County Health Department:
- 4 new cases reported - 2 men in their 40s, 1 woman in her 70s, and 1 woman in her 90s.
- Jackson County's total positive test count is 312, with 261 recoveries and 12 deaths.
Jefferson County Public Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall there have been 104 positive cases of COVID-19, with 90 recoveries and 14 deaths.
- 1,763 negative test results.
Marion County Health Department
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, there have been 56 positive cases of COVID-19, with 53 recoveries.
- 1,615 negative test results.
Perry County Health Department:
- Overall, 43 positive cases of COVID-19, with 40recoveries.
- 757 negative test results.
Randolph County Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, 277 positive cases of COVID-19, with 267 recoveries and seven deaths.
- 2,022 negative test results.
Richland County Public Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, 4 positive cases of COVID-19, with 3 recoveries in Richland County. Two additional cases were identified, but those patients live outside Richland County.
- 1,044 negative test results.
Southern Seven Health Department:
- 1 new case reported - a woman in her 80s from Johnson County.
- Overall, Southern Seven reports 268 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 156 recoveries and 15 deaths.
