A concrete construction business is expanding to Carbondale.
Quad–County Ready Mix will begin construction in Carbondale on a new facility within the next few weeks and expects to open by Thanksgiving. The new facility will employ approximately 10–15 people. It will be built on 15 acres in the Bicentennial Industrial Park.
Quad–County Ready Mix is a fourth generation family–owned business that operates 12 plants and employs more than 150 people in southern Illinois. The company also operates plants in Mt. Vernon, Nashville, Centralia, Benton, Okawville, and Salem.
