A Carbondale woman is headed to prison after violating her probation.

The Jackson County State's Attorney says 34-year-old Bridgette Hart has been sentenced to seven-and-a-half years behind bars.
In January, Hart pleaded guilty to Residential Burglary for stealing items from a residence in the Deer Lake neighborhood of Carbondale. She received four years' probation.

But, a month later, Hart was arrested for Retail Theft and Possession of Methamphetamine.

A Petition to Revoke her Probation was filed and she was re-sentenced following a hearing.
