Carbondale Police are investigating two separate shootings.
Police say the report of the shot fired in the Arbor District happened Monday.
The first happened around 10:45 in the 600 block of West Cherry Street.
When police arrived, they learned shots were fired by an individual described as a black male wearing a light colored hoodie with black pants. He was last seen running south bound on Rawlings Street.
The second incident happened later in the afternoon around 5:40 in the 500 Block of South Poplar Street.
Police say the shots were fired by an individual inside a moving blue vehicle heading north on Poplar.
Police say no one was injured in both of the shootings. But, they don't believe they are related.
