Carbondale Officials Cut The Ribbon on New Bike Lanes in the City.

May is national Bike month, and on Monday Carbondale City Officials cut the ribbon on the latest stretch of road to become bicycle friendly.From now on, bicycle riders on south Oakland Avenue and Chautauqua Road will have a wide, well-marked bike lane to ride in

<--break->Molly Maxwell is a Planner for the City and says:

"The City of Carbondale has a complete streets promise, whenever they're resurfacing a road, they'll try to incorporate bike lanes wherever they can."

"When they're starting a new branch of their business, they are looking for a place that their employees are gonna want to work, and live and raise their families."
