A Carbondale man has been charged with threatening others inside a residence with a handgun.
Police say 27-year-old Montavious Burton entered a residence in the 300 block of South Marion early Sunday morning. He reportedly threatened the occupants with a handgun.
Burton eventually left the residence and drove off in a car. During the investigation, Carbondale Police Officers located the vehicle and Burton. They arrested him and charged him with Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Use of Weapons, Disorderly Conduct, and Criminal Damage to Property.
