Carbondale Police say they have obtained an arrest warrant for a 19-year-old related to an incident on a school bus this morning that prompted a school lockdown for a brief time.

Officers say 19-year-old Jekiary Anderson is wanted on charges for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Officers at Carbondale Community High School say they were told of a disturbance on a bus on its way to CCHS, where one of the students, believed to be Anderson, may have had a weapon. That student got off the bus and never arrived at the high school, so police began a search for him.

School administrators put the lockdown in place at CCHS, along with Lincoln Middle School and Lewis Elementary School, as a precaution. Police report that lockdown was lifted shortly after 9:00am.
