Inside The Blanket Fort: Episode 82 - 4/14/22

Journey back Inside The Blanket Fort this week as we take a closer look at the new SIU Press book we previewed in last week’s episode: Engaging Museums: Rhetorical Education and Social Justice by Lauren E. Obermark. This book examines rhetorical engagement with difficult topics, focusing on three case studies of museums that have undertaken the complex task of representing traumatic events: the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, the National World War I Museum, and the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum.

Also be sure and check out the latest podcast episode of Blanket Fort Radio Theater's production of"The Undaunted Women of Nanking."

Blanket Fort Radio Theater is a storytelling initiative of SIU Press in collaboration with the SIU Creative Writing program and WSIU Radio.
