COVID-19 exposures have forced the closure of two SIH facilities in Saline County on Monday (August 31).
SIH Primary Care, SIH Outpatient Rehab, and lab services are all shuttered for at least one day as the organization conducts a deep cleaning of the facilities.
The healthcare provider says several employees have tested positive for COVID-19, likely through community exposure. Patients who had appointments scheduled will be notified and rescheduled.
SIH is working with the Egyptian Public Health Department to identify and trace the coronavirus exposures.
