A person is in custody for trying to commit a robbery in Carbondale.
Police say 51-year-old Roosevelt Clark of Carbondale is in the Jackson County Jail charged with Aggravated Robbery as well as a Williamson County Warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense.
The incident occurred late Friday night in the 700 block of East Main Street.
Officers learned the suspect -- identified as Clark -- entered the room of the victim and demanded money while implying he had a weapon.
