"Got You Covered" helps with diaper expenses

Parents with young children now have some help, when it comes to having enough diapers, thanks to a Carterville non-profit, through the "Got You Covered" diaper program. Evelyn Fuqua with the program says cleanliness with young children is important, and that's how they help.

"We help with baby wipes, lotions, diaper cremes, shampoos and baby wash. It's kind of an emergency program when they're down and out and don't know how to find means for diapers, and we try to help out."

Fuqua says the non-profit receives no state funds, and the diaper project is 100 percent supported by public donations. For more information about the program call the Carterville First United Methodist Church at 618-985-4511.
