Ameren utility crews work to restore power in Harrisburg

Ameren and other utilities crews continue to restore electrical and gas service in storm damaged areas of southern Illinois.Thursday afternoon Ameren reported about 600 customers in Saline County remain without power, along with 570 in Pulaski County, and a little more than 160 in Gallatin County.

Ameren says it has more than 400 personnel working to restore power to the region. Ameren says power could be restored to the Harrisburg area by sometime on Friday.
