University of Illinois' Board of Trustees says they want the university's president to rebuild support among faculty.Trustees met in an emergency session Monday to discuss Michael Hogan's job performance. Recently more than 100 faculty members called for Hogan's dismissal. Christopher Kennedy is the board's chairman. He says when the university has so many important professors writing letters to the board expressing their concern.... that that in and of itself represents concern on the part of the trustees.
Kennedy says the board stands by the President - but will continue reviewing his performance in the coming months.
