The search is on for a missing teenager.
Carbondale Police say 17-year-old Cassandra R. Brooks was last seen on Sunday at about 5:40 p.m.in the 2400 block of South Illinois Avenue.
Brooks is described as a black female, about 5'04" tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She also has metal braces on her teeth.
Brooks is believed to frequent the area of The Field's Apartments and the 500 block of East Sycamore Street in Carbondale, as well as the Carterville area.
