Reading Baseball: Zoltan

Pete Peterson's beloved Pittsburgh Pirates haven't made the playoffs, or even had a winning season, in 20-years.  But this season the Pirates are contending for a playoff spot with just over 60-games remaining.  In his latest edition of Reading Baseball, Pete tells us how this year's team is channeling the power of Zoltan.

Reading Baseball is a series of original essays and commentaries by Richard "Pete" Peterson, editor of the St. Louis Baseball Reader and the author of Growing Up With Clemente.

Richard "Pete" Peterson is the creative force behind WSIU Radio's Reading Baseball Series. Pete's original essays and commentaries are a regular staple for any fan of the game.
