Kroger Fuel Station in Carbondale Robbed

Carbondale Police are searching for the suspect wanted for the armed robbery of the Kroger Fuel Station on Giant City Road.
Officers say they were called to the station at 2:38 Sunday afternoon. They learned the suspect approached the employee, at about 2:35, and inferred he had a handgun. The suspect demanded money and merchandise, which the employee gave the suspect. The suspect left on foot and was last seen walking southwest from the scene.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned black male about 27 years old, 5'11"tall weighing about 200 pounds. The suspect was wearing a gray or blue colored zip up hooded sweatshirt with gray sweat pants and what appeared to be a pair of light colored boxer shorts with a dark pattern. The suspect attempted to conceal the top portion and lower portion of his head with a black cloth.

No one was injured.
