Ice Expected for the Entire Region

National Weather Service map for predicted freezing rain across the region.

An ICE STORM WARNING is in effect from 9 a.m. Friday to noon Sunday for Clinton, Fayette, Marion and Washington counties. 1/4 to 3/4 of an inch of ice is possible.
An ICE STORM WARNING is in effect from 3 a.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Sunday for Randolph County, Illinois and Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri. 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch of ice is possible.

A WINTER STORM WATCH is in effect from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning for Coles, Edgar, Shelby, Cumberland, Clark, Effingham, Jasper, Crawford, Clay, Richland and Lawrence counties. Ice accumulations of up to 1/4 of an inch possible with higher amounts possible from I-72 south.

A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY is in effect from 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday for Perry, Franklin, Jackson, Williamson, Saline, Union, Johnson, Pope, Hardin, Alexander, Pulaski, Massac counties in Illinois and Perry, Bollinger and Cape Girardeau counties in Missouri.

A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY is in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday for Jefferson, Wayne, Edwards, Wabash, Hamilton, White and Gallatin counties in Illinois as well as Gibson,Posey and Vanderburgh counties in Indiana.
