The annual Memorial Day Service in Carbondale will feature a returning keynote speaker.
The event Monday will feature Retired Lt. Colonel Harvey Welch, Jr., who delivered the keynote speech in 1985.
Carbondale Mayor Mike Henry will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
The service will start Monday at 10 a.m. at the historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
