Shawnee Community College has a new CEO.

The Board of Trustees Tuesday selected Tim Taylor as the school's ninth president. He beat out seven other finalists for the position.

Shawnee Community College is prepared to announce its new president.

The new school leader will be announced during Tuesday's Board of Trustees meeting, which will be held on ZOOM.

Shawnee Community College has narrowed its list of candidates for school president down to eight finalists.

The group includes interim President Kathleen Curphy; former President of Frontier Community College Tim Taylor; former associate dean at John A. Logan College and current vice president for academic services at Richland Community College Denise Crews.
