The Illinois Republican Party is suing Governor J.B. Pritzker over the crowd limitations he imposed during the COVID-19 outbreak.  

Illinois Republican lawmakers are taking issue with Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s Restore Illinois plan that outlines how officials plan to reopen the state’s economy in five phases. 

A group of Illinois House Republicans heavily criticized the lack of work from a statewide task force on property taxes.

House Republicans Vow To Fight Graduated Income Tax

Republicans in the Illinois House are speaking out against Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s proposed graduated income tax.

Republicans held their annual rally at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield Wednesday with a message of party unity.  Bruce Rauner still holds the top office in state government. But as he pushes for re-election, he’s trying to appease conservatives who feel betrayed and whose support he needs to win a second term.   

On March 20th voters will go to polls and vote for Republican and Democratic candidates for the Illinois 115th State Representative Seat, which is currently  held by Terri Bryant, a Republican.

Illinois’ senior Republican Congressman has declined to endorse Governor Bruce Rauner in next year's primary election.

Support for GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump remains tepid among leaders of the Illinois Republican Party.

The Republican Gubernatorial candidates agree pensions, Medicaid and education funding need reform. But the candidates spent a good amount of time selling their ability to win November.
