SIU Ranked as One of Top 30 LGBTQ+ Friendly Campuses

The LGBTQ+ Resource Center was one of the programs highlighted in the Campus Pride profile.

SIU Carbondale has been named one of the 30 best campuses for LGBTQ+ students.

SIU received five stars from Campus Pride, which ranks universities based on the social, academic, and physical support provided to LGBTQ students.

LGBTQ friendly healthcare, mental health support and the availability of gender neutral housing were some of the policies that Campus Pride praised in their profile of SIU.
