In Olney, The Olney Arts Council Fall Festival offers Food and Entertainment, Vendors and Art Activities.

In BENTON, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Rend Lake has partnered with a local certified yoga instructor, Sandra Emberton, to offer free children’s yoga classes for children 5-8 years old. These programs will be a six-week series, “Story and Stretch”, and will be held at the Rend Lake Visitor Center. Each week, there will be a kid-friendly themed yoga pose, a story, and coloring sheet. Upcoming dates for “Story and Stretch” begin September 17th and then October 8, 11, 15, 22, and 29. All begin at 10:00 a.m.
Registration is required, as each class is limited to six participants. Adult supervision is required. More information is in today’s almanac on our website.
