GI BIll Helps Vets and the Country

The GI Bill was signed into law by President Franklin Roosevelt on June 22nd, 1944

In 1944 the United States Congress passed the Servicemen's Readjustment Act, more commonly known as the GI Bill, which still plays a crucial role in American society today  as America's longest war winds down.
