Benton schools are closed today, as administrators say they’re dealing with a safety issue.
A statement on Benton High School’s website says school leaders are coordinating with local police in the investigation, but decided to cancel classes to protect the safety of students, faculty, and staff.
Administrators say classes will resume next Tuesday, after the Labor Day holiday.
