A Moultrie County man died overnight after being hit by a tractor trailer as he walked along Interstate 64 in White County.
Illinois State Police 36-year-old Dustin Gregory of Lovington was pronounced dead at the scene in Gray Township.

Troopers say before 4 a.m. Friday, a semi driven by 45-year-old Aaron Enoch of Ohio was traveling in the right lane of I-64 at milepost 128.5. Gregory was walking in the same area and for an unknown reason stepped into the right lane of traffic, directly in Enoch's path.

Gregory's vehicle was located about three miles away from the scene of the accident.
