A teenager fell about 20 feet from a cliff at the Little Grand Canyon Hiking Trail in the Shawnee National Forest.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says a father and son from Louisville, Kentucky were hiking Monday morning when the 14-year-old son slipped and fell near a waterfall on the trail.

The 14-year-old was flown from the scene to a St. Louis area hospital. His condition is not known at this time.

This comes on the heels of a hiker falling at Burden Falls in the Shawnee National Forest on Saturday.
