The National Weather Service has canceled the Winter Weather Advisory for Jackson County and most of southern Illinois south of Interstate 64.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in affect until 6:00 am Tuesday for Fayette, Clinton, Marion, Randolph, and Washington Counties in southern Illinois and St Francois and St. Genevieve Counties in southeast Missouri.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in affect until 8:00 am Tuesday for Edwards and Wabash Counties in southwest Illinois.
Freezing drizzle will end Tuesday morning in the watch area as temperatures warm above freezing. Accumulations of a light glazing of ice has developed on untreated and elevated surfaces which could create slippery driving conditions.
