Williamson County Starts LEAD S.I. Class

The Williamson County Chambers of Commerce and John A. Logan College want to train the next generation of leaders.

The inaugural LEAD SI Class is ready to start in August.

Applications are being accepted for the LEAD SI class at John A. Logan College.

15 slots for the class and you have to live or work in Williamson County to qualify.

Participants have the opportunity to learn leadership skills form variety of professionals and community leaders.

The class meets monthly for a full day of classes, a chamber luncheon, and visits to businesses and community organizations.

Facilitator Russell Williams says the class aims to advance all levels of leadership.

“I feel like Southern Illinois right now is going through a transfer of leadership, it’s you know that knowledge, that practical application, how do we transfer to the next generation?”

The class meets monthly for a full day of classes, a chamber luncheon, and visits to businesses and community organizations.
