This is shaping up to be one of the coldest Halloween's on record in our region.

The National Weather Service in Paducah says Thursday's projected high of 48 in the western Kentucky town would tie for the 4th coldest on record. The record of 43 was set in 1993.
The projected low of 27 would be the 2nd coldest on record, just behind the mark of 24 set in 1993.

The normal high for Halloween is 66.
