More than 100 new cases of COVID-19 were added in the southern Illinois region over the weekend - with several counties still to report their numbers on Monday.
While many counties are still seeing increases in cases among young people, there is one new outbreak at a long-term care center in Perry County.
Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center announced three staff members and 15 residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. Administrators say the affected patients have been moved to an isolated area, and the staff members are isolating at home.
