Washington Co. Hospital Hires New President

Brian Monsma is the new president of Washington County Hospital (WCH). Brian’s first day as president at WCH was Monday, September 17.";

A southern Illinois hospital has a new leader.

Washington County Hospital in Nashville has hired Brian Monsma as its new president.
He will report to both the Board of Directors of Washington County Hospital and to SSM Health in southern Illinois.

Monsma's background includes executive leadership positions in rural/municipal hospitals within the Mercy Medical Center network in Sioux City, Iowa.

He succeeds Nancy Newby, who is retiring after 21 years as hospital president.
