Cape Girardeau, MO – Two more suspects are now in custody for their alleged role in a counterfeiting ring that struck several southeast Missouri towns.
The Southeast Missourian reports 27-year-old Terry Hester and 28-year-old Darius Lankford were both arrested in Alabama and are jailed.
Both are scheduled to appear in Cape Girardeau on federal counterfeiting charges on February 29th.
Authorities say the men are the last of five people involved in producing and using counterfeit bills at stores and restaurants in Cape Girardeau, Poplar Bluff, Dexter and Sikeston in early October.
