Three Arrested and One Sought After Incident at Kohl's

Three people are in custody and another is being sought following an incident at Kohl's Department Store in Carbondale.

Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle and retail theft at the store around 5:45 Monday afternoon.
As officers arrived in the area, they immediately identified the suspect vehicle and the three suspects.
During the course of the investigation, officers arrested 28-year-old Kyle Wills of Carbondale, 20-year-old Joshua Phelps of Swansea and 26-year-old Joseph Kasten of Grand Tower for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Look-Alike Substance. Phelps was also arrested for Obstructing Justice and Wills for Driving while License Revoked.

Officers later learned a fourth suspect fled south on foot from Kohl's with stolen merchandise. That suspect is described as a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Anyone with information about the wanted suspect should contact Carbondale Police or Crime Stoppers at 618-549-COPS.
