Some southern Illinois communities have moved their trick or treating hours because of Mother Nature.
The city of Herrin has moved its "trail of treats" to Friday from 4-6 p.m. and trick or treating hours will be Friday from 5-9 p.m.
The city of Murphysboro and the city of Carbondale will hold their trick or treating hours on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
The changes are due to the forecast of rain and potentially severe weather Thursday evening on Halloween.
