State Leaders Say Illinois Has Processed Five Million COVID-19 Tests.

Illinois has reached a COVID-19 testing milestone.  Illinois Department of Public Health Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike gave the official number on Monday.

"We have exceeded five million tests in the state of Illinois.  And, in the last 24 hours, over 38-thousand tests were reported."

Governor JB Pritzker says since May, Illinois has been averaging more that 50-thousand tests per day, and Illinois has done more testing than other Midwest states.
